We have an exciting opportunity for a HVAC/ Plumbing Sales Project Manager located in Rochester, MN.

How you will contribute: 

Leverage your networking and relationship management skills through developing and growing a customer base focused on commercial and industrial plumbing and HVAC construction projects. You will spend your time meeting with customers, establishing/maintaining relationships and generating sales; estimating projects; as well as setting up and closing out projects. Ahern offers the support of subject matter experts in the area of design and estimating for more challenging projects. You will project manage the work you sell and coordinate the installation with the field, suppliers, and other subcontractors. You will have the ability to influence the financial performance of regional work while assuming an active role in managing projects in conjunction with an engineer and Ahern’s field talent. It’s worth mentioning that our PMs will also receive collaborative support from our Purchasing, Drafting, and Collections groups, emphasizing our unified team effort.

What you need to qualify:

Ahern will make the most out of your prior construction project management or sales experience with plumbing and HVAC related projects. A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred, but not required. If you have a strong knowledge of mechanical systems, a basic understanding of design and a strong understanding of how to put together a disciplined estimate, we would love to speak with you. Must have excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills; the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Estimated Compensation: 

$97,800- $122,000 plus bonus/commission. This position is also eligible for a vehicle allowance and gas card. Final offers based on education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
