Hiring a FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME position working with our Project Manager to prepare complex and original designs that require a high degree of precision using Revit. Develops and maintains drafting standards and procedures with the full-time opportunity for potential growth in the active development, cultivation, and maintenance of project-associated relationships (PRM).

Mechanical Drafting Assistant Responsibilities

  • Develops Revit system designs and documentation
  • Uses design and modeling software to support requests given during pursuit and the award of plumbing & HVAC projects
  • Collaborates with estimators, project managers, engineers, BIM Modelers, architects, and GUNTHERS clients
  • Determines the proper elements and scale for construction sites
  • Gathers and analyze data on costs, materials, and labor
  • Meets deadlines while modeling GUNTHERS exceptional standard of quality
  • Supports Project Manager in additional tasks as needed

Mechanical Drafting Assistant Knowledge/Skill Requirements

  • Proficient experience or knowledge in Autodesk Revit software
  • 1-2 years of HVAC design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or attending school in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or other related fields preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and plans and ability to create verifiable reports and exhibits
  • Keen attention to detail
