You'll have the opportunity to: Learn to set up, start up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipmentAssist with routine maintenance on assigned machines under supervisionLearn proper machine changeover proceduresAssist with equipment shutdown and startup proceduresParticipate in equipment overhaul and maintenance activitiesDevelop your knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and manufacturing processesLearn to identify and report equipment problems or unusual conditionsComplete maintenance and production documentation accuratelyLearn and follow safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, working at heights, confined-space procedures, and hazardous-material handlingOperate or learn to operate forklifts and other lifting equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area The goal is simple: learn the equipment, build your mechanical skills, prove yourself, and advance your career. Successful candidates will have: A High School Diploma or equivalentMechanical aptitude or an interest in hands-on technical workA willingness to learn manufacturing equipment and mechanical maintenanceThe ability to follow instructions and work responsiblyStrong attention to detailA commitment to workplace safetyThe ability to learn and operate a forklift or other material-handling equipmentThe ability to successfully complete the Battery X Mechanic assessment within six months Physical Requirements This is a hands-on manufacturing position.
