Position Facility: MeadowsideOur manufacturing members are the heart of our organization. If you?re passionate about making a difference, we want you to help make our products, processes, communities and each other better.Position OverviewPay Range: $28.57/hr - $29.95/hr + $1.50 Shift PremiumHours: 1:00pm9:30pm; Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)As a Johnsonville Formulation Operator, you get the opportunity to think pro-actively and understand how formulation affects plant flow.

Work together with other Formulation Members to obtain World Class blending results in safety, yields, usages, and efficiencies. Consistently manufacture "great tasting" sausage products according to specifications. Set goals and objectives; both personal and as a team member to acquire "superlative" performance to support the Johnsonville Way.

Grow, develop, and stretch yourself by continuing to find new and better ways to meet your commitments to yourself, your team and to JVL. All of this is to ensure consumers always get a great tasting/performing product for their families.ResponsibilitiesSetup, run, rotate positions, teardown, and inspection of equipment in your area such as grinders, blenders, and spice sifting but including hot water washes all by following proper safety lock out tag out procedures.Safe and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals on equipment.Take ownership for daily accurate SAP documentation of products/supplies (including scanning, counting to verify materials, and document quantities).Operate the dual grinders and run all other equipment within the department.Communicate between Scheduler, Production Coordinators, Team Leaders, and Production Reporters as needed.Must be able to support MS Formulation Operator roles and CS LBB Grinder/Blender roles as a cross-functional team.Able to effectively manage meat inventory (i.e. meat age).Plan and execute the daily work required to supply Meat Inspection and Formulation teams with materials and ingredients needed (dry and liquid ingredients, cardboard, labels, etc.).Must be able to manage the quality of materials used (i.e.
