Position Summary:
 The Meat Grinder/Marinator is responsible for grinding, processing, and marinating various types of meats according to company specifications and food safety standards. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality meat products are prepared efficiently for distribution.

What you’ll do:

  • Operate industrial meat grinders and other processing equipment to grind meats to the required texture and consistency.
  • Prepare and mix marinades following company recipes and specifications to ensure consistency in flavor and quality.
  • Properly marinate meats according to established procedures, ensuring even distribution of seasoning and proper absorption.
  • Weigh and portion meat products for packaging and distribution, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Inspect meat products for freshness, quality, and any defects before processing.
  • Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of meat and equipment.
  • Maintain and clean meat processing equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely.
  • Assist in tracking inventory levels of raw meat, seasonings, and other ingredients, reporting shortages as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet daily production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
