FOODSERVICE DISTRIBUTION TEAMLEADER

LOCATION: McLane Foodservice - 2641 Meadowbrook Rd., Rocky Mount, NC 27801

The Team Leader promotes and maintains warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader.

  • Pay rate: Based on experience.

The typical schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday.  The hours can vary based on the needs of the business, therefore, interested applicants need to be flexible.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks, shortages, and replenishment issues.
  • Select, pull, sort, and stack products using power equipment or by hand.
  • Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
  • Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls).
  • This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 18 years of age.
  • 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
