Job description

Salary:

Looking for steady work with a solid crew and a company that takes pride in doing things right?


At McGrath, our concrete laborers are hands-on in the fieldsupporting everything from formwork to finishing on active construction projects. If you take pride in your work and show up ready to go, youll fit right in.

This position requires membership in the St. Louis Laborers Union (McGrath will assist with sponsorship if needed).


What youll actually be doing:

  • Performing concrete labor tasks including:
    • Form setup and breakdown
    • Blocking, strike-off, and finishing support
  • Assisting with jobsite setup, cleanup, and organization
  • Supporting demolition and general labor tasks
  • Assisting carpenters and other trades as needed
  • Following all safety procedures and identifying jobsite hazards
  • Taking direction from Superintendents and field leadership


What were looking for:

  • Concrete labor experience (journeyman level preferred)
  • 3+ years of construction experience
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all conditions
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
