McCann Behavioral and Psychological Center is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our committed team on a full-time basis. This remote position allows therapists to provide critical psychological support while working from the comfort of their homes. Compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflective of experience and expertise.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, meticulously considering patients' medical histories and ongoing physical health issues.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address patients’ mental health concerns alongside their medical conditions, fostering improved patient outcomes.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques adjusted according to each patient’s unique needs.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to cultivate a multi-disciplinary approach to care, ensuring all aspects of a patient’s health are being addressed seamlessly.
• Provide intervention strategies during crisis situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques and supportive communication to stabilize patients' conditions.
• Educate patients on how their mental health influences their physical health, empowering them to take active roles in managing both aspects.
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in line with legal and ethical guidelines to protect patient privacy.
• Engage in regular communication with team members and attend interdisciplinary meetings to share insights and strategies for patient improvement.
• Stay informed about advancements in integrated care and mental health research to enhance clinical practices.

Our therapists primarily serve individuals suffering from a range of mental health challenges, particularly those with concurrent medical issues such as autoimmune disorders, addiction, and chronic pain. The role involves understanding the complex interplay between mental and physical health needs, enabling our patients to achieve stability and wellness through comprehensive care.

• A legitimate master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, psychologist, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling with patients experiencing co-occurring medical conditions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and rapport-building.
• Strong commitment to maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality as mandated by healthcare laws.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating a collaborative spirit in all interactions.

While the minimum requirements are essential, candidates with specialized training in integrated health care practices, crisis intervention, or specific therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be given preference.
