About the Role:
We are hiring a Journeyman Electrician with commercial experience who can read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, install and maintain electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems in commercial settings.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit.
  • Cutting, bending and running 1/2", 3/4" and 1-4” electrical conduit materials.
  • Experience bending offsets, 90's, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, etc.
  • Terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets and various electrical devices.
  • Install the circuitry, makeup and test each work area assignment. With a final inspection for each work area by the onsite superintendent or Project Manager.
Required Qualifications:
  • California Journeyman Electrician Certification Preferred
  • Self-starter on high production hotel and residential units with MC and NM Cable.
  • Clearly understand detailed laminated sheets for assigned work area, which will include all measurements, heights and circuitry.
  • Quality oriented and organized in materials and tools related to your daily work area.
  • High communication skills and work well with Supervision and other electricians.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to report to the jobsite on time daily.
  • Valid driver’s license if required for the role.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take direction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or extended shifts as needed.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Ability to work in secure or badge access environments.
