Job Overview
This role provides strategic and operational finance leadership to support business performance,decision-making, andlong-rangeplanning within DePuy Synthes. The Sr. Manager, Business Ops / Finance partners closely withcrossfunctionaland senior leaders to drive financial rigor, improve processes, and enable sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support shortandlong-termbusinessobjectives.
Partner with business and functional leaders toprovidefinancial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations that drive performance.
Oversee management reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
Support strategic initiatives, including investment evaluations, cost optimization, and business case development.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Lead and developfinancetalent, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, ora relatedfield (required).
MBA or advanced degree (preferred).
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Minimum8-10 yearsof progressive experience in finance, business operations, or related roles.
Demonstrated experience in financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
Proven ability to partner withcrossfunctionalstakeholders and influence at the senior leadership level.
Experience leading teams and developing talent in a matrixed environment.
Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial governance.
Preferred:
Experience supporting a global ormultibusinessorganization.
Background in medical devices, life sciences, ora regulatedindustry.
Experience driving process improvements or finance transformation initiatives.
Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning capabilities.
