Chapman Mazda Phoenix is seeking an experienced Mazda Service Technician to join our team. Our technicians are committed to keeping customers' vehicles performing at their best by delivering high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using genuine Mazda parts in a climate-controlled shop. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document findings with recommended maintenance or repairs.
  • Communicate additional repair needs and estimated completion times to the Service Advisor.
  • Complete repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Perform warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and productive service department.

Qualifications

  • Mazda/ASE certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mainline automotive technician required
  • Proficient in vehicle diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repair
  • Must provide your own tools and toolbox
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, computer, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical demands of the job
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
