Join the Orem Mazda Team as a Parts Front Counter/Driver!

Orem Mazda is expanding and looking for a motivated Parts Front Counter/Driver to join our growing team. This role involves a variety of tasks, including handling over-the-counter and phone sales of parts, assisting customers, and managing inventory. The position offers a stable schedule of 9-5 Monday through Friday, with every third Saturday required once fully trained. Enjoy a weekday off in the Saturday rotation.

Position: Parts Front Counter/Driver

Responsibilities:

  • Perform over-the-counter and phone sales of parts to a diverse customer base.
  • Provide friendly and efficient assistance in selecting parts and informing customers about related parts and specials.
  • Address phone inquiries with accurate price quotes and information.
  • Align body shop estimates with ordered parts and pricing.
  • Maintain exceptional service for both internal and external customers.
  • Manage stock by pulling and filling orders, and addressing out-of-stock parts.
  • Coordinate with service advisors and customers regarding special ordered parts.
  • Organize and track orders for delivery to body shops.
  • Monitor back-ordered parts and manage will-call and back-order files.
  • Maintain records, cleanliness, and functionality of the parts area, while staying updated on products and engaging in professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • No prior experience or training required; experience preferred but optional.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds to move parts, load delivery van, and put stock orders away.

Compensation:

  • Pay varies depending on experience. Start hourly with potential to discuss salary/commission pay upon gaining experience.
