Location: Machesney Park IL

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $20 - $24 per hour depending on experience

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating CNC turning equipment, reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and producing quality parts to tight specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC lathes and turning centers.
  • Load Raw Materials and unload finished parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
  • Make basic machine offsets and adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor tooling and replace worn or damaged tooling.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
  • Complete production and inspection documentation accurately.
Qualifications
  • Previous CNC lathe operating experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and tooling.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
