Job description

SUMMARY OF POSITION:


-Set-up, program, and operate CNC Mazak turning centers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
-Program CNC Mazak Lathes from reading/interpreting blueprints
-Set-up and run Lathe applications that include soft turning, hard turning, threading, and center work (I.D. boring).
-Must inspect the manufactured parts and edit programs or adjust offsets and tooling to meet the print requirements.
-Understand standard and geometric tolerances on blueprints.
-Must be able to set up and use precision bore gages, OD snaps, micrometers, indicators, and gage block set-ups.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
-Work overtime when necessary.
-Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
-Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
Pay commensurate with experience.
