The ideal candidate is a highly skilled leader with experience establishing pursuit management standards, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring consistent execution across a portfolio of opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own pursuit management and project governance standards across multiple lines of business.
- Provide strategic guidance to executives on pursuit readiness, schedule discipline, milestone priorities, risk exposure, and decision cadence.
- Establish expectations for project controls, schedule adherence, issue escalation, governance routines, and executive reporting.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely action closure, decision-making, and risk resolution.
- Champion responsible use of approved AI-enabled tools and automation to streamline pursuit operations, improve reporting consistency, and reduce administrative burden across teams.
• Guide consistent pursuit outcomes by monitoring portfolio readiness, milestone health, and management visibility across opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 10+ years of relevant professional experience required.
Program Requirements:
-Specialized experience needed: establishing or leading pursuit management/project governance standards across teams, portfolios, or multiple lines of business.
-Candidates should have experience designing operating rhythms, executive reporting expectations, project controls, escalation pathways, milestone health reporting, readiness reviews, issue management, and decision cadence.
-Must influence senior stakeholders, improve management visibility, standardize pursuit outcomes, and champion responsible use of approved AI-enabled tools and automation to improve reporting consistency and reduce administrative burden.
This position is fully remote and will require a home office.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
