Job description

Matter Mobility Analyst

The firm is seeking a Matter Mobility Analyst to support the Information Governance Department by coordinating and managing the secure transfer of digital client data during the onboarding and offboarding of client matters. This role is responsible for facilitating the movement of electronic records into and out of the firm's document management systems while ensuring compliance with firm policies, data security standards, and information governance procedures.

Responsibilities include transferring digital records and metadata, classifying and documenting inbound and outbound data, exporting client files from the document management system, troubleshooting data transfer issues, maintaining accurate tracking records, and serving as a resource for questions related to the transfer process. The analyst will also work with FTP technology, encryption, large datasets, and a variety of file formats while collaborating with internal teams to ensure data integrity and timely completion of client requests.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least two years of related experience. Strong technical knowledge of Windows systems, file management, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, network security principles, Microsoft Office, and legal applications such as iManage and ServiceNow is required. Experience supporting clients, managing large data transfers, and maintaining secure data environments is essential. Law firm experience and familiarity with Information Governance principles are preferred.

This position may be based in Colorado or Illinois. The salary range is $56,000โ€“$84,000 in Colorado and $62,000โ€“$92,000 in Illinois.
