Job description

JOB DUTIES
  • Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
  • Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
  • Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
  • Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
  • Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 2-5+ Years of experience
  • Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design.
  • EIT certification preferred
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience using the following software required: AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
  • Experience with industry standards such as: ASCE 7, IBC, AISC and ACI

Salary Range:
Engineer Level 2- $87K - $110K
