Job Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will have a minimum of 5 - 10 years' experience in seismic acquisition; preferably 2D, 3D, 4D, Heli-portable, conventional seismic experience.  You will use your Electronic Technology diploma or 2 years of post-secondary relevant engineering education to oversee and participate in the installation, interfacing, testing and usage of equipment and programs. You will assist in planning and requisitioning of new, recording equipment, radios and computers. You will work with Observers to verify field instrument tests and make sure equipment is within specified limits, troubleshooting and correcting systems when required. Using your strong communication and technical skills you will act as a technical liaison with client representatives.  **You must be legally entitled to work in the region applying for and willing to travel.
