To thrive as a Math Teaching Assistant, you need strong mathematical knowledge, tutoring skills, and at least a bachelor's degree or progress toward one in mathematics or a related field. Familiarity with educational software, learning management systems (like Canvas or Blackboard), and tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Classroom is often required. Patience, effective communication, and the ability to motivate and support diverse learners are crucial soft skills.
