The Anchored School is seeking a passionate and innovative Grades 4–6 Math Teacher who can make mathematics exciting, engaging, and meaningful through Project-Based Learning.
We are looking for an educator who believes that students learn best by doing—using games, hands-on activities, real-world problem solving, STEM challenges, and collaborative projects to build a strong foundation in mathematics.
Responsibilities:
  • Teach math to students in Grades 4–6 using a Project-Based Learning approach.
  • Design engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Incorporate math games, manipulatives, technology, and interactive activities into daily instruction.
  • Connect mathematical concepts to real-world applications and cross-curricular projects.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment where students feel confident taking risks and solving challenging problems.
  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences.

  • Creative, energetic, and committed to helping every student develop confidence in math.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is someone who can transform math into an exciting experience. We want a teacher who enjoys creating hands-on projects, incorporating educational games, encouraging mathematical thinking, and helping students understand not just how to solve problems, but why math matters in everyday life.
Why Join The Anchored School?
  • Small class sizes
  • Supportive Christian school community
  • Project-Based Learning environment
  • Opportunities to be creative and innovative
  • Collaborative and encouraging team
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
If you're passionate about making math meaningful and inspiring students in Grades 4–6 to love learning, we'd love to hear from you!
Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter sharing your teaching philosophy and experience with project-based or hands-on learning.
