Job description

Salary: $17.28 - $20.74 per hour

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Quality Control Auditor is to ensure the accuracy and quality of orders picked for shipment through thorough auditing and verification processes.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Audit picked orders for part number, labeling, pre-packaging, and quantity using the following methods:
    • Review manufacturer drawing and/or specification sheets.
    • Verify part number marking on product.
    • Cross-reference information in the system.
    • Review picked location against order details.
    • Utilize weigh scales or conduct hand counts as necessary.
  • Document any discrepancies found during audits.
  • Collaborate with picking personnel and supervisors to resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Audit and, if necessary, relabel Bulgin Blind Fulfillment orders.
  • Prepare and print Certificates of Conformance for customer orders.
  • Prepare moisture-sensitive products for shipment following specified guidelines.
  • Assist picking personnel in implementing effective pre-packaging methods.
  • Assist in picking customer orders during periods of high volume to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain Electro-static picking stations.


Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience with proper picking processes and procedures.
  • Ability to learn ERP; previous ERP experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word and PDF Editor skills.
  • Ability to interpret drawings.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk and stand up to 8 hours per day.


Working Conditions:

  • Warehouse environment with moderate noise from power industrial trucks.
