INITIAL ASSIGNMENT: Mountain View Middle School
HOURS TO BE WORKED: 6.75 hrs/day, Monday - Friday, 33.75 hrs/week, 192 days/year with 9 paid holidays
RANGE OF PAY: Non-Certified $18.36 - $22.82
Certified $20.07 - $24.95
Paraprofessional may be assigned to a small group of students within a general classroom, or working individually with a student. Skills being worked on may be academic in nature, such as assisting students with a Science Lab, editing an essay or solving math problems. Functional skill development may include social skills, hygiene, safety and behavior management. A paraprofessional may occasionally be reassigned depending on absences for that day. Our day starts at 8:25am and ends at 3:10pm.
