CNC Machinist (Preferred Experience with Swiss CNC / Citizen Machines) – $28–$33/hr | Temp-to-Hire


This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent weekday hours in a clean, air-conditioned facility.


Job Details

  • Position: CNC Machinist 
  • Pay: $28–$33/hour, based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Environment: Climate-controlled manufacturing floor


CNC Machinist Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Citizen Swiss-type CNC lathes
  • Perform G-code edits and adjustments at machine control
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Machine precision components using lathes, mills, and grinders
  • Fabricate and assemble tooling, jigs, fixtures, and dies
  • Calculate and set machine controls for production accuracy
  • Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, lubrication, and inspection
  • Monitor production to ensure tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Recommend process improvements for efficiency and production optimization
  • Support general manufacturing operations as needed


CNC Machinist Qualifications

  • Experience with Swiss CNC machining; Citizen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Familiarity with G-code programming and editing
  • Strong math skills for manufacturing calculations
  • High level of manual dexterity for small precision parts
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to quality control standards


  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform standing/sitting tasks
