Position Overview:
Atlanta Prep is seeking a One-on-One Math Teacher to provide individualized math instruction to students with diverse learning profiles. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching math, skilled in differentiating instruction, and committed to helping students build confidence and mastery in math.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized (1:1) math instruction tailored to each student’s academic level and learning style
  • Develop and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans
  • Break down complex math concepts into manageable, accessible steps
  • Collaborate with staff to support student goals
  • Track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Maintain a structured, positive, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field 
  • Strong understanding of foundational math concepts
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and use creative teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students succeed
Preferred, but not Requried:
  • Experience working with students with special needs (preferred)
  • Background in special education or ABA environments (preferred)
  • Experience with individualized instruction or tutoring (preferred)
  • Exposure to or willingness to learn the Eureka Math curriculum (preferred)

In addition, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and ABA services are seamlessly integrated into each student’s daily schedule, creating a cohesive, consistent, and supportive learning experience.
