Job description

  • Specialty:
    • General/Invasive Cardiology-MD
  • Coverage Needs:
    • 3 months possibly more
  • Shifts: 
    • 8 Hour Monday -Friday, with Call requirements
  • Call: 
    • Both
    • 1:2 call expectation
    • New and established patient visits
  • Support Staff: 
    • APPs
  • Procedures: 
    • Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, imaging/testing reading, procedures based on type of physician found and experience (i.e. Diagnostic caths, TEE, Cardioversion etc)
    • Diagnostic cath, TEE, Cardioversions Loop implant/explant
    • Can do diagnostic catheter work if preferred but not required
    • 1 APPs (off on maternity leave starting in Oct 2025)
    • Will not be supervising
  • EMR: 
    • Voice Recognition
    • Epic
  • Travel: 
    • Hospital will cover
  • Credentialing timeline:
    • Typically, 30 days, but applications are prioritized according to start date
  • Requirements:
    • ACLS,BLS
    • BC/BE
    • Proctoring may be required depending on what type of procedures and reads they would be performing
    • 50 Cases in last 12 months
