Job description

Make an impact this school year by supporting students' communication and learning goals as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Bring your expertise to dynamic educational environments, ranging from upper elementary to middle/high school settings. Opportunities are available for both full-year roles and exciting maternity leave placements, offering a blend of long-term consistency and the chance to experience different schools over the course of the academic year.
Ideal candidates possess:

  • Active or pending SLP-CCC or CFY licensure and appropriate state credentials
  • Previous school-based SLP experience (preferred, but CFYs are welcome)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and deliver direct therapy services
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and related compliance
  • Flexibility to adapt to both full-year and leave coverage assignments
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting speech/language and communication assessments
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
  • Designing and implementing therapy programs for students with a variety of needs
  • Maintaining accurate, timely records and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Providing both individual and group therapy services
