We are looking for Sr Materials Planning to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies.This role willreportto the Sr Director, Materials Program Management and will be based in San Jose, CA.This is a fully on-site, in officerole5 days a week.

The Sr Materials Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring operational success for the Supply Chain and Manufacturing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for materials and manufacturing readiness for NPI requirements. This role interacts with our suppliers and internal core teams, encompassing critical component planning, quoting, procurement, and materials liability management. Their objective is to ensure supply chain and manufacturing requirements to support development products are properly and timely completed. Ensuring appropriate focus on operational execution is critical to enable Time to Market, Cost entitlement & Supply base capability.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage supply chain and manufacturing requirements to support product development

  • Project manage Operations NPI and Product Lifecycle Process requirements

  • New products ownership

  • Responsible for materials readiness, availability, and visibility for new products

  • Responsible for manufacturing readiness; DFM feedback, NPI build planning, system readiness

  • Interacting with our supply partners and internal core teams like Engineering , Quality, Manufacturing etc. on new product schedules and deliverables

  • Engineering and development builds & component cost tracking

  • Critical component planning, quoting, procurement, and materials liability management

  • Prepare and communicate critical Materials updates at weekly new product Program reviews

  • Through a deep understanding of our commodity terms, ensure the logistical flow of materials necessary to meet production schedules, inventory control requirements, and ongoing material line support

  • New product handoff to operations team

Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree or minimum 8+ years of professional experience required.

  • Positive attitude and team work

  • Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data

  • MS Excel and Power Point knowledge with deep understanding of Excel techniques.

  • Professional experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), planning, and supply chain experience preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management required.

  • International experience and/or Mandarin, Japanese, Vietnamese language skills a plus
