Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Advanced Programs (AP) Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) team supporting a portfolio of programs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this role, you'll be the liaison between Supply Chain, Program leadership, engineering and the supply base. You'll execute the Program material strategy at our suppliers' facilities to ensure our suppliers are ready to support our upcoming increased rate. In addition, this team will serve as the liaison for the internal supply chain team, program engineering, program leadership, and supply base as the point of contact inside the supplier to assist with any delivery or technical concerns. This position supports product development efforts and requires us to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment where successful material strategy execution is a key contributor to overall program success. This position is primarily a hybrid role that requires the ability to travel. What You Will Do: * Coordinating program requirements with Engineering, Program Operations Management, and Production Control Planning and Scheduling
* Identify supply gaps and strategies to address
* Ability to prepare documents and present presentations to key members of the leadership team
* Work with PMO, CGO, and program supply chain team to develop and implement material strategies that support our Multi Year production
* Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance
* Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
* Flow down Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans
* Influence others to achieve overall objectives and long-range goals of the program
* Travel to key suppliers to support program growth strategy
* Liaison between supply base, supply chain, engineering, and program management weekly on status of supplier health
* Coordinate with internal supply chain, engineering, and program management team on any technical or delivery concerns with path to solution strategy
* Ability to Travel domestically, ~85-95%, per the RTX travel policy
* Ability to obtain MPM level 4 certification (or higher)
* Perform any other reasonable duties as required Qualifications You Must Have: * Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
