Job description

Role- Materials Planning Specialist
Onsite in Mountain View
Manage NPI & MP supply, WIP inventory to fulfill demand necessary for Custom Silicon projects and minimize Excess and Obsolescence
2. Validate weekly MPS (Mass Production Schedule) data, arranging daily supply plan to downstream supply chain and identifying Week over week ("WoW") change to ensure build
plan alignment
3. Issue and manage Lot handling within 1 business day for in Semiconductor supplier's system for COT NPI samples fulfillment
4. Manage and follow up PR/PO, Sale Order, Stock Transfer Order execution and fulfillment to meet weekly & daily fulfillment metrics
5. Closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to monitor NPI WIP, highlight delay and review SP projection
6. Monitor supply chain network weekly and daily supply situation
7. Manage Inventory, provide WoW inventory snapshot and identify availability to enable better utilization
8. Create reports and deliver data analysis via tools like SAP and E2Open
9. Weekly demand reconcile with suppliers and SoC/DRAM GSMs for NPI & MP
10. Execute production control functions of dispatching, expediting, and tracking. Keep partners in alignment on status and deliverables and diverting escalation to minimize disruptions
11. Data analysis for performance metrics update
12. Manage reserve logistic/RMA sample tracking, credit note issue and replacement
13. Creating part numbers and support Product Lifecycle Management activities in the systems
14. Report automation and data analysis to improve supply/demand strategies and optimize supply plan efficiencies
15. Execute production control functions of dispatching, expediting, and tracking. Keep partners in alignment on status and deliverables and diverting escalation to minimize disruptions.
