What are some common challenges materials planning managers face when coordinating with suppliers and production teams?

Materials Planning Managers often encounter challenges such as fluctuating demand forecasts, supplier delays, and unexpected disruptions in the supply chain. Coordinating between suppliers, production schedules, and inventory levels requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. Adapting to new technologies and continuous process improvements also plays a vital role in overcoming these challenges.
