Job description

The incumbent is responsible for implementing the objectives and standards of the Department's Quality Assurance Program. This includes applying departmental policies and procedures related to standard operating procedures, inspection protocols, document management, workplace safety, infection control, and training validation and verification. The incumbent also reviews SOPs and work instructions and recommends improvements to support continuous enhancement of all Quality Assurance activities.
Qualifications:You qualify at the GS-11 level, if you meet one of the following qualification requirements:
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1.) Ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures used by the staff to perform needed services; 2.) conducting checks in shipping and receiving areas for compliance to standards and SOPs; 3.) identifying trends and weaknesses, and making recommendations for products and services changes; 4.) and identifying opportunities for improvement through analysis of performance data, internal audit results, external reviews, incident reports, customer input, and other sources of information.
OR
Completion of a PhD degree in an accredited or pre-accredited college or university; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or possession of a LLM degree, with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields if related to the position.

A combination of education and specialized experience that meets the qualification requirements for this position.
