Job description

Shift Timing: 1st Shift; 7 AM – 4:00 PM

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Summary

The Materials Associate supports aerospace manufacturing and operations by managing the flow, storage, and accuracy of materials used in production. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, tracking, and issuing materials in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The Materials Associate works closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure materials are available, traceable, and compliant with aerospace and customer specifications.

What You Will Do

  • Shipping / receiving / inventory tasks
  • Put Always using a forklift and reach truck
  • Record all customer transactions via a database (SAP)
  • Data entry
  • Receive, un-box, box, pack, ship, inventory management and work closely with other logistics and quality staff
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have or be able to obtain Forklift certification
  • Able to use a Reach Truck.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Previous stock room and cycle count experience
  • SAP or other database receiving experience
  • Experience with MS Office: Word, Excel
