We have an opportunity for a Materials Coordinator to join our Delavan, WI team. You will help achieve and maintain materials team goals, including safety observations, reduction of quality errors with audits and implementing resolutions, parts picking for sales order, material market set up, and identifying process improvements to meet productivity goals.

You will:

  • Update and track materials and value stream MDI metrics daily in regards to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Cash and Culture.
  • Coach team members on standard work, MDI Metrics and overall material workflow.
  • Become proficient in all SAP functions required of the materials lead position.
  • Support production and material flow to ensure processes run smoothly and uninterrupted.
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture within their team.
  • Perform audits on material flow processes, supermarket accuracy, and pick accuracy.
  • Perform training for employees on mobile equipment.
  • Set daily work schedules to ensure that all production needs are met

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associates degree or coursework towards Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • 5+ Years’ experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • ERP System (SAP, MFG, PRO, M2K) experience.
  • Prior leadership and training experience desired.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and use of initiative to meet a defined target or project goal.
  • Experience of Lean manufacturing methodologies and/or continuous improvement.
  • Certified to operate and train on mobile equipment such as Sit Down Forklift, Standup Reach Truck, and Tugger.
  • Experience creating and utilizing basic spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

Shift/Hours:

  • 2nd shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm Monday – Friday 
  • Occasional mandatory overtime required 

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $24.00 to $26.00/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
