About the Role: working on E2 shift at Teel Court- (7pm-7am)

The material coordinator I is responsible for material handling including inventory control, accuracy, and organization of the extrusion process. They also will be knowledgeable on the grinding operations and can operate all forklifts. They are directly responsible for ensuring the proper materials are issued and returned to and from the production areas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and interprets work orders, blending materials as necessary.
  • Physically moving raw materials and regrind to and from production, supporting the production team
  • Operate equipment used to grid start-up or scrap material, as well as maintaining the equipment.
  • Understand how to use and read the IQMS schedule.
  • Become comfortable using the IQRF scanning device.
  • Aid in Material Review Board requisitions.
  • Understand the established QSP's and use them to better document best practices.
  • Know all safety requirements of the department and demonstrate the knowledge by promptly reporting any concerns.
  • Aid in Material Review Board requisitions
  • Use safe driving and forklift practices.
  • Maintain and clean and organized workspace.
  • Store materials in the most accessible and efficient means possible.
  • Perform all necessary data entry functions to ensure data function and control.
  • Aid in physical inventories.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

What You Need:

  • High School diploma
  • 1 or more years of warehouse experience.
  • Prior forklift experience.
  • Training and experience with ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Knowledge of CoC/CoA management systems.
  • Preferred ISO knowledge
  • 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, extruded plastics preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Travel Requirements 0-10%
