Job description

Join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly! As a Support Tech 1 – Material Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring materials move efficiently and accurately throughout our facility. If you’re detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate fork trucks, overhead cranes, plant delivery truck, and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Supply work centers with required materials using the PDQ app (Plant Delivery Que).
  • Document and discard scrap material accurately, both electronically and physically.
  • Perform all physical and electronic material transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Stage, check, label, and load finished products to warehouse locations.
  • Receive, verify, and audit incoming materials for conformance to requirements.
  • Confirm part numbers, counts, weights, and measures for shipments.
  • Inspect incoming shipments and document any damage or shortages.
  • Complete MRB (Material Review Board) and RMA (Return Material Authorization) transactions per process.
  • Support other work areas as workload demands change.
  • Report equipment performance and reliability issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to scheduled work hours and be available for overtime when needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to pass Spacesaver’s Baseline Assessment.
  • 1–3 years’ experience operating a forklift and overhead crane; ability to obtain Spacesaver certifications.
  • Familiarity with PC navigation, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English (translation assistance available upon request).
  • Skilled in reading tape measures and using measuring devices.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to sit or stand for a minimum of 8 hours, occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature/humidity conditions.
