Job description

Nakoma Golf Club is seeking an organized, energetic, and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Working closely with our Administrative Assistant, Clubhouse Manager, and General Manager, this individual will help support daily club operations while serving as a welcoming and professional presence at the club's front desk during evening dining hours.

Position Details

• Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week
• Primarily afternoon and evening hours, Thursday - Monday during the season; Thursday - Saturday in the offseason
• Reduced, but continued employment year-round

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary front desk representative during evening hours
• Answer phones and direct calls professionally
• Welcome members and guests and assist with inquiries
• Provide tours of the club to prospective members and event clients
• Assist with member payments, billing support, and account inquiries
• Process invoices and maintain vendor filing systems
• Track and organize company credit card purchases and receipts
• Support club communications and administrative projects
• Create and update newsletters, event flyers, signage, and other print and digital materials
• Assist with special events, member programs, and departmental projects
• Maintain organized records and administrative systems

Qualifications

• Accounting and/or Administrative Assistant experience preferred
• Professional, outgoing, and positive attitude
• Comfortable interacting with members, guests, and prospective members
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
