Position Summary
Doota Industrial America is seeking a highly organized and dependable Material Management Coordinator to support construction operations by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are properly received, tracked, stored, and delivered throughout the project site.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting field crews, and ensuring construction activities remain productive through effective material coordination.
What Will you do
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse, laydown yards, and storage areas.
  • Track inventory levels using spreadsheets or inventory management systems.
  • Coordinate delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to field crews.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts.
  • Identify shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies and report them promptly.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Project Managers, and Field Supervisors to ensure material availability.
  • Assist with staging materials for daily construction activities.
  • Coordinate returns, exchanges, and replacement materials with vendors.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (if certified).
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and protected from damage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage environment.
  • Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
  • Support project closeout by organizing surplus materials and inventory reconciliation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction material management, warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
  • Experience supporting commercial or industrial construction projects preferred.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel between Round Rock and Taylor project locations.
  • Experience using inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, or ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Bilingual English/Korean or English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Skills & Physical Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, electrical materials, and industrial equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read material lists, packing slips, and purchase orders.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple project teams.

Prefer Qualifications
  • Semiconductor, industrial, or large commercial construction experience.
  • Experience with material tracking systems and inventory audits.
  • Knowledge of construction logistics and warehouse best practices.
  • OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
  • Forklift or aerial lift certification preferred.
