WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Performs shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading duties following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as well as Machine Operating Procedures (MOP).

  • Performs transactions vital to maintaining accurate records and inventory balances.

  • Operates various warehouse equipment, such as sit-down forklift, stock picker, and RF scanners, among others.

  • Maintains equipment, including conducting routine inspections, and keeps workspace clean, safe and organized.

  • Aligns with all applicable safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to the Team Leader or appropriate resource.

  • Notifies the Team Leader or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.

  • Meets established performance standards to align with production schedules while following company quality specifications.

  • May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a warehouse is preferred.

  • Preferred candidates will have 2 or more years of experience working with forklifts and stock pickers.

  • Computer knowledge, including Excel, Word, Outlook, JD Edwards, and Internet.

  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including but not limited to: UPS WorldShip, FedEx, Ship Manager, and LTL shipping procedures.

  • Ability to operate the equipment necessary to position. i.e., Forklifts, stock picker, RF scanner, shrink wrapper, bander, battery charger, dock levers.

  • Knowledge of, and ability to promote, compliance with safety policies and procedures.

  • Skill in analytical thinking and problem-solving.

  • Skill in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to adapt, thrive and maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced business environment.
