By fostering collaboration and using data-driven forecasting tools, they help ensure materials are available where and when needed, minimizing bottlenecks and keeping projects on schedule.

  • Monitor material availability against project milestones and proactively identify potential shortages or delays.
  • Produce daily and weekly material status and progress reports for client and project management.
  • Lead the engineering receiving inspection of all turbine and balance-of-plant equipment in accordance with OEM specifications and project quality plans.

  • Maintain controlled records for turnover and lifetime quality documentation.
  • Operate and administer document management systems for material certification, inspection records, and shipping documentation.
  • Implement OEM preservation requirements for long-term storage and installed equipment.
  • Audit storage conditions and preservation activities to ensure compliance with project and manufacturer standards.
  • Track preservation status and generate compliance reports.
  • Perform receipt inspections of materials (kick and count).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5โ€“10+ years of materials management, procurement, or supply chain experience in manufacturing, energy, or high-tech industries; experience in gas power, oil & gas, or control systems is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC/S4HANA, Oracle, NetSuite) and inventory management techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable plans.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to interact with internal stakeholders and external suppliers at all levels.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, trade compliance, and safety policies.

  • Health Savings Account Employer Contribution of $1500 for individuals or $3000 for families who enroll in a high-deductible health plan.
  • Telehealth benefits.
  • Matching 401(k) plan.
  • Competitive paid time off plan and 10 paid holidays.
