Job Description

Support warehouse operations and production campaigns by ensuring materials are received, stored, tracked, and distributed safely and efficiently. This role works closely with technicians, production managers, process chemists, and domestic and international stakeholders to meet project timelines while maintaining compliance with FDA, EPA, OSHA, IATA, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, label, and electronically record incoming materials.
  • Maintain loading docks, warehouse spaces, storage areas, and sampling/dispensing rooms in a clean, organized, GMP-compliant state.
  • Distribute pharmaceutical materials and coordinate shipments to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, lifts, and drum handling equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support production campaigns.
  • Collect, prepare, package, stage, and document chemicals and materials as needed.
  • Record sampling and testing data and maintain accurate inventory and batch records.
  • Ensure material integrity and traceability through physical and electronic inventory controls.
  • Follow special shipping and handling requirements, including temperature-controlled and priority shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to support operational needs and project timelines.
Qualifications
  • HS diploma and valid driver's license.  Preferably, an Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (chemistry preferred)

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in a materials management function
  • Understanding of safe handling of hazardous chemicals
  • Experience in warehouse inventory management
  • Excellent computer skills, capability to learn site-specific computerized inventory system
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Ridgefield, CT are encouraged to apply.
