Responsibilities:
As the Hardware Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in driving sales and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities include:
  • Sales Promotion: Actively promote sales initiatives while providing high levels of guest service to enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Team Leadership: Monitor and guide team members in establishing and achieving retail objectives in line with company standards and policies. Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Guest Service Culture: Cultivate a culture of outstanding guest service by leading by example and implementing best practices for customer engagement.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date department records, ensuring compliance with company standards and facilitating smooth operations.
  • Cost Analysis: Demonstrate proficiency in costing out materials to establish appropriate retail pricing, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-4 years of retail sales and management experience, preferably in the hardware industry.
  • Customer Service: Strong background in guest service with proven leadership abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in hardware sales or a related field is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a focus on effective follow-through.
