Job Description:

This position supports the Marketing and Public Relations Department with various administrative and marketing-related tasks to promote South Georgia Technical College.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media content, and website updates.
Research marketing trends, competitor activities, and potential outreach opportunities.
Support event planning and execution for college recruitment fairs, open houses, and community events.
Manage and organize marketing department files, databases, and inventory of promotional items.
Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and answering phones.
Assist with photography and videography for college events and marketing campaigns.
Monitor and track social media engagement and website analytics.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
Job Qualifications:

Currently enrolled as a student at South Georgia Technical College.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) is a plus.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
