Job Overview:

The Material Handler / Inventory Specialist supports our On Demand Printing Department by working alongside Digital Press Operators to ensure materials and in-process jobs are available where and when they are needed. This role maintains organized inventory, replenishes production materials, and helps keep production running efficiently to meet customer deadlines.

Available Shifts and Pay Rates: 

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hr.

What You'll Do:

  • Replenish and organize materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks and rolling carts.
  • Receive newly delivered materials and place them in their designated locations.
  • Transfer in-progress jobs to the correct departments.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy using a tablet (iPad).
  • Lift and handle boxes of paper up to 50 lbs.
  • Communicate effectively with press operators and receiving associates to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Perform any other tasks required by the On Demand Team Leader.

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role required.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
  • Experience operating material-handling equipment (pallet jack, rolling cart, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and cycle counting.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members across departments.
  • Comfortable using technology such as tablets for inventory tracking.
