Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Material Handler positions in Mobile, AL. Responsibilities:

  • Operates power equipment (i.e. electric pallet, walkie rider, sit-down forklift) in a safe and efficient manner to locate, put away, stack, and move checked-in products to correct storage locations on a daily basis.

  • This includes stocking, filling bin boxes, facing cartons, checking for product mixing, and rotating product where needed; monitoring stock on shelves or bins; replenishing stock from reserves; maintaining control of products in reserve stock area or will call area.

  • Receives product by unloading trucks using forklift, pallet jack, electric pallet jack, or by hand.

  • Ensures shipments received are in good condition and accurate by: inspecting freight for damage and signing freight bills; verifying quantity ordered versus quantity received; checking all shipments against packing lists; and completing necessary paperwork for reimbursements or discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 0 – 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
