Job description

Inventory Control and Material Handler
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Inventory Control/Material Handling team in Norcross, GA. This person will be responsible for safely and efficiently managing materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy, throughout all Operations processes. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse setting and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Note: Employment is subject to a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and/or MVR check, based on job duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Inventory Control –
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts
  • Participate in annual physical inventory counts
  • Perform stock checks, audits, and verifications as required
Receiving –
  • Unload, unpack, inspect, identify, and put-away incoming freight
  • Transact incoming freight accurately in computer system (Business Central)
Material Handling –
  • Move inventory, physically and systematically, throughout all internal processes
  • Replenish inventory picking locations to support the picking process
  • Safely operate equipment (forklift amp; box truck) to move inventory between multiple storage locations
Picking –
  • Pick goods for order fulfillment
  • Package goods for shipment, LTL, FTL, and parcel (FedEx/UPS)
Shipping –
  • Create shipping documents
  • Transact shipments in ERP (Business Central)
  • Use internet to create FedEx and UPS labels
HOURS OF OPERATION
  • Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm with OT as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fork lift experience
  • 2 year of inventory control or material handling experience
  • Knowledge of computerized inventory and order management systems (ERP), Business Central a plus
  • Ability to lift, climb, stand, walk, turn and pivot for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to shoulder height of 50 lbs without assistance
  • Ability to drive a box truck between beMatrix facilities is a plus
  • Proven knowledge of warehouse and production procedures
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to conduct self-accordingly to beMatrix’s operating values which include operating with honesty and integrity, and in a spirit of team work and respect
