Summary:
Under the direction of the Quality Control Manager, the Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting overall warehouse operations. This role ensures that product quantities, locations, and values are properly tracked and verified to maintain efficiency and accuracy within the distribution center.

Essential Functions:
  • Conduct regular product counts and record totals in the inventory system.
  • Compare physical inventories with system data and supporting records (e.g., sales orders, production logs, purchase invoices) to confirm accuracy.
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and recorded data, adjusting as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, including inventory balances, shortages, and pricing updates.
  • Manage stock movement, ensuring materials are properly issued, labeled, and stored.
  • Log and track damaged or held product within the system.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts according to site requirements.
  • Review warehouse exception reports and investigate irregularities.
  • Control and reconcile all product holds (both physical and system-based) on a weekly basis.
  • Support other departmental initiatives as assigned to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance across operations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.

Qualifications amp; Experience:

  • 2 years of related experience in distribution, logistics, or inventory control.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and urgency in completing tasks.
