Job description


Supervise the execution of material purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Resideo. You will operate within the existing material control systems and process and provide guidance to direct reports on clearly defined objectives. You will manage the team to meet the customers' needs in terms of delivery, inventory, cost, and quality. You will build up team capability and lead continuous improvements. Keep Resideo's production lines moving by ensuring materials are well scheduled, evaluated and accurately delivered on time, every time. Continuously improve material management processes to drive better business results. Empower team members to achieve clients' objectives by hiring the right people, developing, coaching, and retaining top talent.
JOB DUTIES:
  • Lead team to meet metrics
  • Develop and optimize material management procedures
  • Improve Resideo operating system maturity
  • Health, safety, and environment compliance
  • Manage facility supply requirements
  • Engage in new production introduction (NPI) activities
  • Manage compliance in adherence to the business excellence requirements of the organization
  • Annual cost and target reduction
  • Coach and develop team to consistently attain any metrics
  • Facilitate and direct associate training modules upon hire
  • Complete time keeping for the team
  • Responsible for the application of appropriate corrective action for performance, attendance, and safety protocols
  • Responsibilities may require overtime on a daily basis or on weekends based off work volume requirements

YOU MUST HAVE:
  • 5+ years of experience in Supervisory role
  • 5+ years of experience in a shipping/distribution center setting
  • 8+ years of experience working with WMS systems and/or Microsoft Excel
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
