Description
The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University is seeking applications for one position in the Finance group at the seasoned assistant/tenured associate level to begin August 2026. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in finance or closely related field from an AACSB accredited university. We seek candidates who have demonstrated the ability to conduct influential research, as measured by publications in top journals, as well as the ability to teach effectively.
The Owen Graduate School of Management is engaged in graduate and undergraduate management education, with an enrollment of over 600 students in its MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Marketing, and Master of Management in Health Care programs. In addition, Owen faculty members teach in the Vanderbilt University undergraduate business minor. Founded in 1873, Vanderbilt University is an internationally recognized research university with a student body of some 13,500 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, and approximately 1,500 full-time faculty (excluding faculty employed by the Medical Center), of whom 55 have their primary appointment at Owen. Vanderbilt University is situated on a 330-acre campus located a mile and a half south of downtown Nashville.
