Job Role:


We are looking for a knowledgeable Business Systems Analyst with mortgage banking experience to help our team develop, use and integrate IT systems; primarily cloud-based. We're further looking for superior technical expertise and a problem-solving aptitude. A Business Systems Analyst must be knowledgeable about mortgage banking and should have a customer-centric attitude. Communication is everything for an analyst so we expect you to amaze us with your presentation skills. 


Responsibilities:


  • Understand customer requirements and business objectives
  • Provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals
  • Manage IT initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical staff
  • Design IT systems and networks ensuring the right architecture and functionality
  • Support new technology implementation
  • Train users in new and existing IT systems
  • Provide assistance with technical issues
  • Revise existing systems and suggest improvements
  • Promote process improvement and be an advocate for change
  • Elicit and document the 'what' and 'why' of a business request, separately from the 'how'
  • Elicit and document current and future state business and technical process flows
  • Analyze data and review/explain data models
  • Provide best practice feedback on UI functionality/design


Requirements:


  • At least 5 years of proven experience in IT consultation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
  • Experience with various operating systems and databases
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
  • A team player with excellent communication, both verbal and written as well as presentation skills
  • BSc/BA in computer science, IT, or relevant field; MSc/MBA in business will be an advantage.
