Job description

Salary: $50K to $55K

Job Description


We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Onsite Service Managerto support operations at a busy seafood processing facility. This position is responsible for overseeing daily workforce management, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring associates are properly supported throughout their assignments.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment while balancing employee relations, compliance, scheduling, and operational needs.


Responsibilities

  • Manage daily onsite staffing operations and workforce attendance
  • Conduct employee check-ins, coaching, and performance follow-ups
  • Coordinate with client supervisors regarding headcount, schedules, and staffing needs
  • Monitor attendance, tardiness, fall-offs, and replacements
  • Ensure all associates follow safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and GMP standards
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training coordination
  • Handle employee relations issues professionally and escalate concerns when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and workforce activity
  • Communicate daily updates to internal management and recruiting teams
  • Support recruiting efforts by helping maintain a strong pipeline of candidates
  • Conduct floor walkthroughs and ensure associates are working safely and efficiently
  • Assist associates with questions regarding schedules, payroll, transportation, or workplace concerns
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, onsite management, or warehouse/manufacturing supervision preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a cold and wet production environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required/ additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
