Job Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on Masimo's flagship Pulse Oximetry business. This role will be responsible for driving the development and execution of the commercial marketing strategy for the Masimo Pulse Ox portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, field sales/clinical teams and other relevant stakeholders in the development and execution of the strategic downstream marketing plan.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage overall global marketing strategy and plan for the Pulse Ox portfolio, including product objectives, competitive analysis, positioning strategies and revenue projections.

  • Support the regional marketing and sales functions to achieve the corporate financial goals for the Pulse Ox portfolio.

  • Direct marketing initiatives/campaigns to support overall advancement, adoption, and acceleration of the product portfolio.

  • Develop commercial tools and sales collateral that powerfully communicate the portfolio's value proposition.

  • Analyze market dynamics and trends to identify opportunity areas.

  • Identify and communicate competitive threats and opportunities for the business and lead competitive action and response plans.

  • Lead product launch teams and drive product launch activities globally.

  • Coordinate project assignments and communication across Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory departments.

  • Drive business objectives through sales initiatives and field training.

  • Interact with healthcare professionals when appropriate to identify customer needs and pain points. Identify key users, build reference accounts, and develop strong advocates.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, project management, commercial strategy, or technical role.

  • Results-oriented and positive attitude to get things done.

  • Detail-oriented and flexible.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work well within a team environment and independently.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working within a medical devices or life sciences company.

  • Prior experience with sales, marketing, and engineering teams.

  • Prior experience with data analysis and business intelligence programs.

  • Strong familiarity with product development lifecycle.

  • Comfortable with FDA and international medical device regulatory processes.

  • Proficient in CRM software such as Salesforce.com.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering and/or Lifesciences.

  • MBA preferred.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required.
